Spring is springing

I know so because rain drops have been replaced, if only temporarily, with sunshine, and my purse is now stocked with Benadryl.  Although Spring doesn’t officially arrive for another couple of days, the sweet smells of colorful flowers and bright green grass and full trees are doing a number on my nose and eyes.  Luckily, my daughter isn’t bothered with alergies so she is free to enjoy nature, while her mother works at trying not to puff up like a blow fish and scare the innocent park dwellers.  But even with the tears and the itchiness, Spring is still an enjoyable time of the year because, with it comes a kind of renewal.  A renewal of life.  Like the buds on bushes, and the new leaves amongst the trees, I want to blossom this season – in love, in spirit, in purpose.

What do you enjoy most about Spring time?

Spring is all about renewal for me too. It’s far enough from the beginning of the year to make, revise and review resolutions with purpose instead of pretense. This spring I’m going back to school (for fun this time), I’m continuing to break out of my housewife couture mode and I’m making the house look and feel like the home of a bunch of creative, fun, free-thinking people. It’s a busy time and I’m all about it.

Congrats mama! It must feel really good :)

I am being a more active job seeker, lighting the fire under my writing again, and working on “finding myself”… do you ever really find yourself? Lol. Anyhoo… on with the renewal.

Being able to take a nap with the windows open. There is nothing like feeling a cool breeze against your skin and waking up to sunlight on your face… I am in love with spring! And those of us in the Mid-Atlantic earned it! Happy Spring!

Allergies are my least favorite because I suffer, suffer, SUFFER! Not fun!

What I like the most about it is that soft breeze that isn’t too hot and not cold at all. I would say I am more of a Spring girl than a Summer girl, simply for that reason. Spring has that weather that is right at 75% with a breeze that I enjoy the most…anything above that and God forbid, without a breeze, I’m in attitude city LOL!!!

I love the colors of Spring. I love the smells of Spring. I love it because Winter is over, and there are so many possibilities.

I understand much too well (much to my chagrin) about allergies. I am a sufferer too unfortunately. But I do like spring for much the same reasons that you do. I actually, like the moment right before spring officially debuts. Kinda of like the darkness just before the dawn or the pull between good and evil analogy. Something about that time between changing seasons gives me strength and courage. Often in my own life the tug-of-war between a bad experience and moving to better place is hard but knowing that all things will pass and tomorrow is always new with no mistakes, gives me such courage.

That is a beautiful way to look at change and transition!
