Celestial changes

On Sunday, November 15, 2009 there will be a fantastic meeting in the sky. Saturn in Libra will square Pluto in Capricorn. The combined energies of Pluto (unconscious transformation, regeneration and rebirth) and Saturn (restriction, limitation and correction) can produce a pressurized environment, ripe for self-discovery and growth, if and only if you can withstand the pressure.

The Saturn square Pluto aspect is one which is known for producing a situation which encourages you to give up something. It can be a mode of thinking, an intimate relationship, or a job. Pluto will almost certainly create an environment of fear surrounding your issue. The fear can be intense, creating a perceived threat and can push you to make changes in order to retrieve your sense of stability and safety. The issue you are grappling with serves as an opportunity for you to transform. The transformation undoubtedly can be all encompassing internally. During this time, you may not be able to “multi-task” and may have to apply all of your energies to correcting the situation at hand. You may be confronted by a string of small fires or one huge incidence. Saturn the taskmaster  encourages us to create stability and purpose in our lives through mundane tasks.

The effect of this coming transit on our relationship to any number of material possessions  is intense and potentially destructive. However, channeled properly, with love and knowledge we can empower ourselves to effectively address our egos attachments. This celestial change is a blessings in disguise, as they are opportunities for us to engage in deep self-reflection, transformation and correction. The result of a successful Saturn square Pluto transit is a new consciousness, which leads to greater stabilty, value and ultimately freedom.
