Renée, Co-Founder of the We of hue Media and it’s subsidiaries, We of Hue Network and Moms of Hue, authors the parenting blog Cutie Booty Cakes where she discusses her life with a toddler and reviews products that make life easier for moms and their children.
Renee’s dedication and social media savvy has helped to catapult her blog to heights of which she never imagined. Currently, she is a Mommy and Family Contributing editor for BlogHer.com and a Race and Ethnicity Editor for Blog Nosh online magazine. Additionally, Renee has been named one of the Top Power Moms in Digital Media by Nielsen, was chosen to be a Wal-Mart 11 Mom, and became a featured mom blogger for Kellogg’s Snackpicks.com.
Renee has also provided social media consulting for several major companies including SC Johnson, Atlantic Records, Wal-Mart, and Whrrl. She was one of a select group of bloggers invited to the first African-American Walt Disney World Mom Bloggers Weekend and participated in the EA Sports Active 30 Day Challenge.
A highly regarded speaker, her previous events include: Mind of Moms Conference 09, BlogHer ’09, Type-A-Mom Conference, Blogolicious 09, Blogworld Expo 09 and SITScation 09. Her honest presentations have down-to-earth personalty makes her presence at any conference a plus. Renee holds a Masters Degree in International Affairs. She has worked both domestically and abroad in the field of HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention for over ten years.
