In the Spotlight: Kristina Brooke Daniele

Kristina (aka Kristina Brooke or Mom on the Rise) is a Homeschooling/Educational Consultant,  Social Media Opportunist, and Blogger Outreach Consultant.  She has been involved in all things Internet related since 1997. In 1998, she created Epiphany, an online creative writing magazine aimed at helping amateur writers break into the world of publishing.  Epiphany allowed her to work with various writers including Anastasia Clark, Nikki Giovanni, Pamela Jun Kimmel and many others. Additionally, she has worked in web design, marketing, community outreach, public relations, and as a HS English Teacher.

Two years after the birth of her daughter, Kristina left the classroom and returned to the world of freelance writing and web design. She launched Beautifully.Artful (formerly Designs by Kristina Brooke), a design studio which offers web/graphic design and website development, as well as print/desktop publishing services.

In October 2008, Kristina was selected as one of 10 moms to attend Disney’s first African-American Mom Blogger Mixer. She has gone on to work with several companies such as General Mills, ShopRite, Dell, Zoo Games, Knowledge Adventure, Mom Select, BSM Media, Oyster.com, and Suave.  She also provides consumer feedback as Panasonic Living in HD Family and as a Purex Insider.  She is also a March of Dimes Mom and provides SEO consulting and Blogger Outreach to TravelingMom.com.

Kristina holds a Bachelors of Science in English and a Masters of Science in Teaching/Secondary Education, English.
